Colocasia "Hilo Bay"
Luscious Colocasia "Hilo Bay" is a favorite in my garden every year. The big blue green leaves spray out above the garden and wave in a wind. Dark purple stems lead down to a thick thrunk. The plant spreads runners and therefore, may be considered invasive.
Care Instructions
This plant enjoys full sun to part shade. Nutrient rich soil either acidic or neutral PH level. Elephant Ears love water and fertilizer and these plants are mammoths! If you live in a cooler climate, move the plant into a garage or basement that is never below 50 degreesover winter.In the spring,the plant will rejuvenate.
